NIOSH ALERT:
Preventing Injuries and Deaths from Falls during Construction and Maintenance of Telecommunication Towers
July 2001, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health ( NIOSH ) published this alert after recent fatality investigations. It describes seven deaths resulting from falls during construction and maintenance of telecommunications towers as well as provides recommendations to prevent similar incidents.
